Sleep??

Another week! Hayden is now 5 weeks old. And don't let this picture fool you. He sleeps, but not as often as Adam and I would like!! (c: We are all doing well though and trucking along. Maybe a little sleep deprived, but what parents isn't?!?!

1 month!!

Well, we have survived the first month! Hayden is such a wonderful little man and it's hard to believe he's already a month! He's getting so big and he rolled over this week!! YES! We couldn't believe it! As hard as it is at times, I just love him so much and can no longer imagine what my life might have been like without him! So here's to you Haybaby! Mommy and Daddy love you!

Not much to update on, but I thought I'd post some pictures. Hayden is doing well with his sleeping pattern finally. I get about 3 hours of sleep in between night time feedings these days. One night he actually gave me 5!!!! WHOA! I am still adjusting to the lack of sleep, but Adam has helped me out alot with that. There are night when he will take the post feeding diaper change and rock him back to sleep. While he does that, you can find me face planted in bed. But the adjustment continues and I will get into a better swing of things I hope (c: But Adam is so patient while I am trying to get into this rhythm. Thank you Adam for being there for me!!

Happy 2 weeks!

Today Hayden is 2 weeks old! WOW! I swear he grows a little everyday. He's such a big boy now. It is nice to see him growing stronger. He seemed so fragile when we first brought him home from the hospital, but now he's starting to grow fast! Before long...he'll be DRIVING!! Ok, maybe not too soon...

He goes to the pediatrician on Tuesday for a well baby check up. Can't wait to see how much he's gained! Other than that, we are hanging in there. Hayden will sleep a couple of hours every night in his crib, which I think is excellent for a new born. The other hours, he wants to be held and cuddled. But we are making progress so hopefully soon mommy will get 3-4 straight hours of sleep! (c:

Hayden Week 1!

Hello Adoring Haybaby fans!!

Tomorrow Hayden will be 1 week old!! I'm amazed at how in a single week, he already seems to be growing and getting stronger. He's an amazing little man we are super blessed to have in our lives. I can't believe we survived the first week! Here are a few pictures:

Happy Birthday Hayden James Davenport!

He's beautiful!!! Born 8/23 at 3:22pm weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces and 20 inches long! We will update more after we are out of the hospital! Mommy and Daddy love you Hayden!

Haybaby Wheels!!

Hayden has his first vehicle!!! (c: Wesley and James sent us the stroller and we are SO thankful! We spent about an hour trying to get this massive contraption together last night, but we were successful with a little help from the LA Ink crew on the TV. So our strollers honorary nickname is Kat Von Stroller. Yes, Haybaby's first vehicle is named. And now we have a car seat to take him home from the hospital in! They apparently won't let you take a baby home without one! IMAGINE THAT!! lol I also got the changing table in today. I think that might be the last of the items that I am missing, until I figure out something else I need. I wake up about every other day realizing that I am still missing something I totally forgot was a baby essential. We were blessed with a large amount in gift cards from family and friends however, so we have been able to tidy up loose ends. Thank you all so much! 19 more days!
