Thanksgiving!

I have many things to be Thankful for in my life: A wonderful family, a wonderful partner, amazing friends, my health, and all the little luxuries that so many don't have. But this Thanksgiving, I was most thankful for my son. My mom always told me growing up I would never know the kind of joy, worry, or love that a mother feels for her children until I had them. I now understand that just a little bit more. I am so thankful for a great first holiday weekend with my baby boy. He is so precious and growing more everyday. I didn't got a lot of pictures, but here are a few from our weekend at the River with my mom's family. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with the ones you love!

3 Months

So I have a question. Can anyone believe I have a 3 month old?!?!

Didn't think so. I can't believe my baby is already 3 months. During the first 2 months, I thought we would never get to this point, but here we are! Things are starting to get alot easier for me. Hayden is much more portable now and we have a pretty good routine down. I have conquered on-the-go feedings and hauling around a baby. I even did a road trip just me and Hayden and WE SURVIVED!! YAY! Hayden is growing so much. He is smiling and talking all the time which is so wonderful as a parent to witness. It's fun to ask him questions and have him respond telling you just how he feels about the situation, which is normally giggles and smiles. Two nights ago I went to the store for about an hour while Adam watched him and when I came home, he gave me the biggest grin and coo acting so happy to see me. I seriously almost cried.

The last few weeks have been busy which is why it has taken me a bit to update. We spent a weekend with Hayden's Aunt Emily (Adam's sister) having fun shopping and getting a WONDERFUL pedicure. Well, Hayden opted out of that experience. But we enjoyed spending some time with her. Then, Hayden and I journeyed to Houston for my cousins wedding. Unfortunately Adam had to work. We enjoyed Houston though as always. We attempted the Nutcracker Market which didn't allow strollers. Let me repeat that...They DID NOT ALLOW STROLLERS. So I had to carry my 13-14 pound baby in a front carrier all day. But he was a trooper and only cried for food. My mom and I shopped till we dropped in the mean time. Actually, I am the only one who dropped, I am pretty sure my mom can out shop just about anyone I know. But I got some great christmas decorations and Hayden's first ornament!!!! It was lots of girly fun. The rest of the weekend we just hung out mainly seeing my family for the wedding and two of my bestfriends who live in Spring. Even though it was all too short of a weekend as normal, I am glad we got to go. Sorry to those I missed, but we will come down soon for an extended stay! Trips are much different these days with a little one!

Since then, we've been back in Fort Worth preparing for the Holidays. We took him to meet Santa last Tuesday at Bass Pro Shop, but he won't seem to tell me what he asked Santa for. )c: Oh well...I supposed I can take a guess. We are off to the River for Thanksgiving with my family on Wednesday. I am excited about my first Holiday with my little guy. Never fear, we will come back next week with a lot of pictures. In the mean time, enjoy these!!

The shirt says it all, the ladies do love him! He was sleepy in this picture

Well, Hayden had a great weekend, but I am short on time this week and will update on that later! We are off to Houston tomorrow for my cousin's wedding and I have yet to pack for either one of us. So expect a big update Monday!

Hayden's Halloween

Hello Haybaby fans! Well, I've spent most of the night attempting to upload pictures from Hayden's busy weekend. Since it took me so long, I will be pretty short on the posting, but will give you an idea of what went on! It was an exciting one!

Saturday, Hayden and I traveled to Waco. My dad was in Texas in Austin for the weekend so he drove up to see his grandson! YAY! Hayden was so excited to meet his Grandpa! Since it was Halloween, he came all dressed up like a pumpkin! (Hayden...not Grandpa...)We had a nice lunch at Rudy's BBQ and then toured the Dr. Pepper Museum. It was way too short of a visit, but we are glad we got to go!!!!

Then we headed back to Fort Worth and got Hayden dressed up in his Halloween costume to get ready for Adam to come home from work! We met him at the door and all got to play for a little while before Hayden passed out in his bouncer. So much for his first Halloween...He was one tired little boy!!

Then both my boys were asleep.... (c:

We all got rested up and Sunday attended my good friend Catherine's housewarming party. She just bought a new house and we couldn't be happier for her!! I don't have any pictures from that event, but Hayden was such a good little guy for the first two hours, then we had to head home because he had enough Sunday Funday. On our way, we passed Cabella's and decided it was officially time for Hayden to visit there. We got Adam's hunting license for the year and a few little camo items for Hayden.

Hayden's camo paci and blue camo sippy cup. He was SUPER excited!

We then headed home to rest up and get ready for this week. Today, Hayden and I were cleaning and watching TV. Hayden LOVES to watch the Ellen Degeneres show with me everyday, so I put him down for tummy time while we watched.

Ellen is soooo funny!

Hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as we did!
