Gosh, we are on the count down to half a year. I don't think anybody cares about this milestone as much as I do. Maybe it's just a sentimental mommy thing, I'm not sure. But there's just something magical about half a year. So much has happened already and I think about all the things that will happen in the next 6 months. In another week he start solids. He will be sitting up all by himself soon. He will attempt to form his first words. (Momma naturally..) He will begin to crawl. Then he will sprout legs and walk straight over to his big wheel and drive away from me... *sigh*

It's bitter sweet thinking of all the things he will accomplish before he is one. I am ready for him to be an independent little infant, but also trying to cherish all the remaining baby moments. So here is to remembering the first 6 months and anticipating the next 6. Can't wait to watch my little man grow!

And as always, a few photos:

There are just some days we shouldn't get out of bed.

Mid week musings

Hayden and I don't get a whole lot of opportunities for pictures together. I am normally the one behind the camera or avoiding the camera. I am going to attempt to rectify this situation, but let me tell you...trying to take a picture with a baby in your arms...system FAIL. So in my attempts to take pictures of us this week, I managed a few cute ones of Hayden. Not that it's hard, he's pretty cute in my completely unbiased opinion. Enjoy!

5 1/2 months

Dear Hayden,

In 19 days, you will be 6 months. I asked you today how you felt about this, and you blew raspberries. I am going to assume that means you are ready for the second half of your first year. After you turn one, stop growing up so fast. Ok?

All my love,

Mommy

You mean I have to get back in my onsie?!?!

Opps, how did that get there?
