Road Trip

Well, first off this post is exciting cause it finally let me post a VIDEO!!! So I put that at the end of this entry this week. Hopefully it stays cooperative and I can slowly add more! But moving along, this weekend Hayden had his first road trip! Adam and I took him down to Houston to meet his Great Grandpa and Emma Nell! Hayden was such a good baby on the trip. He really only got fussy once on the way down. I would too if I had to sit 4 hours in my car seat. The highlight of the trip down was Hayden's first visit to Buc-ee's! If you have never been, Buc-ee's is an AMAZING gas station in South Texas. They are full of good food and souvineers. They even make their own fudge! It's an experience I am not sure I can describe, but Adam and I have been waiting for the day we could take Hayden there. So Yay! But it was an all too quick trip and I am sorry for anyone who didn't get to see us. We will be back soon. I miss my family and friends so very much! I don't get to see you all near enough!

Here are a few pictures from the trip:

Fall is in the air!!

Fall/Winter is my favorite time of year! Fall means a few great things happen: cool weather, hooded sweatshirts, college football, fall colors, changing leaves, lazy Saturdays, fuzzy blankets, firewood and fires, Starbucks pumpkin spice lattes, good Holiday foods, beautiful home decorations, yummy spices in the air, and pumpkins!!! So to commemorate the begining of it all, this past weekend my mom and I took Hayden to the Pumpkin Patch in Flower Mound. We had a good time except for one minor problem. My camera died within the first 10 minutes! (boo) But we did get a few pictures of Hayden. Here ya go!

Busy Weekend!

Hayden had a VERY packed weekend. He enjoyed every minute of it though. Thursday night, Daddy had a baseball game for the "Punishers", his team through work. So Hayden and Mommy went to cheer him on. I had a blast and Hayden slept through the game, but it was fun to be out and about watching the boys do their thing. Daddy played second base and made two very good plays. And to top it off, they won their game!!! We were very proud of him!!

Then Saturday night, Hayden attended his Grandpa Jim's birthday and retirement party! The party was a surprise and he was flown in on a helicopter, so Hayden dropped by to say HI before the take off. Adam went up on the flight, so I stayed on the ground with Hayden. We watched them take off and waved to them as they hoovered over us. (Actually Hayden cried. I think he wanted to be on the helicopter) We then drove to another house where the helicopter landed in a field and the party started! All of Adam's family was there along with many family friends. So Hayden got to meet a lot of different people that night. One special person he got to meet was his new second cousin Savannah!! Adam's cousin Elizabeth had Savannah a few weeks after Hayden so she is still very tiny.

Then on Sunday, Hayden got to meet his new friend Micah! Our friends Laura and Ryan had their newest little man on October 5th and we are so happy for them! Unfortunately I didn't think to get pictures, but Micah is precious and so tiny! Makes me miss a few weeks ago when Hayden was that small! They really do grow up so fast! Congrats Laura and Ryan!

After the visit, we came home to relax and enjoyed our little family. I am so thankful for the relaxing and quiet moments I have with my boys. They both mean so much to me and I cherish the moments we have to ourselves. Thank you Adam for always being there for me and all you do for Hayden!

Goodnight everybody! See you soon!
