Hayden Week 1!

Hello Adoring Haybaby fans!!

Tomorrow Hayden will be 1 week old!! I'm amazed at how in a single week, he already seems to be growing and getting stronger. He's an amazing little man we are super blessed to have in our lives. I can't believe we survived the first week! Here are a few pictures:

Happy Birthday Hayden James Davenport!

He's beautiful!!! Born 8/23 at 3:22pm weighing 7 pounds 15 ounces and 20 inches long! We will update more after we are out of the hospital! Mommy and Daddy love you Hayden!

Haybaby Wheels!!

Hayden has his first vehicle!!! (c: Wesley and James sent us the stroller and we are SO thankful! We spent about an hour trying to get this massive contraption together last night, but we were successful with a little help from the LA Ink crew on the TV. So our strollers honorary nickname is Kat Von Stroller. Yes, Haybaby's first vehicle is named. And now we have a car seat to take him home from the hospital in! They apparently won't let you take a baby home without one! IMAGINE THAT!! lol I also got the changing table in today. I think that might be the last of the items that I am missing, until I figure out something else I need. I wake up about every other day realizing that I am still missing something I totally forgot was a baby essential. We were blessed with a large amount in gift cards from family and friends however, so we have been able to tidy up loose ends. Thank you all so much! 19 more days!

37 weeks

Today marks 37 weeks and technically according to all the baby sites Hayden is term! Basically if he decides to come now, all his little organs are developed and he *shouldn't* have any issues! Here's hoping and praying! They did a check today and I am 1-2 cm dilated, so at least my body is making progress. It's nice to know that all those pains aren't just for the fun of it! I will go back next Tuesday for my 38th week exam and then my Dr. is out of town for a whole week!!!! So I won't go back till that following Friday! That makes me nervous! I mean I will get through it if she is not there when Hayden arrives, but it's hard to imagine some Dr. I don't know being the one to deliver Hayden. But it's out of my control!

Adam and I got to tour the hospital today which was fun. We saw the nice BIG rooms for Labor and Delivery. The nurses in the hospital were hilarious and very comforting. Hopefully I get a good one when I go in. But it was nice to know where everything is and see the nursery where Haybaby will stay. It kind of started making things all real for me! I am very anxious, but excited. Down to just 2 weeks and 6 days!!!

36 weeks

So we are down to 27 days. I had my Dr. appointment Wednesday, but unfortunately my doc was in a c-section surgery so I didn't get to see her. I got a little frustrated because I was rushed in and out of my appointment and totally forgot to ask all my questions I had lingering!! UGH! Had a nice little pregnancy cry, was consoled by my mom, Tricia, and Adam, and got on with life. I am hoping next week will be a little more fruitful in finding out more as to whether or not I am even gearing up for labor. Time for this baby to COME OUT! lol...I'm kidding. I want what's best for little man, I just think he's going to be a late baby. So no new updates until next week on Dr's visits.


I'm packing to head to Houston this weekend, so I will see everybody that can make it to the shower! (c: We are still receiving lots of great things and just can't even begin to express our appreciation! Yesterday, I heard a knock on the door and when I opened it, there was Hayden's swing!! Thanks to Ashley and Nick for having that sent to us!!! I managed to assemble it all by myself while Adam was at work. Let me tell you, it was quiet the challenge!! Those directions were not exactly...clear. But it is all set up and ready for a baby to be rocked in.

Whoa 30 days!

My goodness! 30 days seems like such a short time and FOREVER away as well. Don't have much to report today, just a little update. I go back to the Dr. on Wednesday and I will be starting my weekly visits. I will know more about my progression at that appointment. This Saturday will be my Houston baby shower. I am SUPER excited to see my family and friends. I miss them all so much and I haven't been able to make it down there since May. So for everybody who will be able to attend, I can't WAIT to see you! Hayden is excited too, he is currently sticking his foot out of my side. So, this foots for you...
